Detachable power supply

The safety lid is vented to help dissipate heat generated during electrophoresis.

Complete UV-transmittancy: made of highly UV-transmittable plastic, allowing direct observation of bands during electrophoresis by installation of the bath on a transilluminator.

Current will only run through the system when the lid is properly in place on top of the gel box. The power is automatically paused when the cover is lifted.

Output voltage can be selected from among 7 levels (18V, 25V, 35V, 50V, 70V, 100V and 135V). Input voltage can be set between 100–240V, allowing worldwide use.

Specially designed tank shape reduces the temperature difference between the buffer resulting in better cooling effect.

The timer can be set to a range of 1–99 minutes and includes an alarm function.

A memory function is provided for storage of the previous timer and output settings.

When the electrophoresis current exceeds the peak current, it will automatically adjust the voltage to lower the current value, thus improving the experimental reproducibility.

Complete system : Unit includes ONE electrophoresis system + ONE gel maker set (4combs, 1 large tray, 1medium tray, 1 small tray, 1 gel casting stand).
